The Stokke Tripp Trapp Chair is a godsend to parents and children everywhere. If I could go back in time and buy it the first time around, when my son was born, I would. Sadly, I made the mistake of buying other, lesser high chairs — two of them in fact, which ended up being such a waste of money.

Newborn Set
For newborn use, you'll want to purchase the Stokke newborn set. New, the newborn set costs $149.
Baby Set (High Chair Seat)
And for ages 6 months to 2 years, you'll want to have the Stokke "baby set" for high chair use. New, the high chair seat costs $79.
You can also purchase the "baby set" together with the chair and save $10.
Bottom line: the Tripp Trapp high chair is 100% worth it. You won't be sorry you bought it. In fact, you'll probably be sorry you didn't get it sooner (like me!)!
